Client Overview

Hospi-Furn is a proudly South African manufacturer of quality robust and durable hospital beds intended for the South African Market., supplying both government and private healthcare institutions. With a well-established operation, a large manufacturing facility, and a significant workforce, their business is built on delivering durable, high-quality medical equipment at scale.

At the time of this project, Hospi-Furn had the product expertise and manufacturing capability firmly in place, but lacked the internal creative resources to present their offerings in a way that matched their technical standard.

The Challenge

Hospi-Furn required a professional, print-ready brochure for their Hartford Bed Range that could be confidently shared with customers and procurement stakeholders. The challenge extended beyond design, they had:

No internal design capability

A defined need for clear, structured product communication

A constrained budget to work within

Success meant delivering a brochure that not only looked professional, but also clearly communicated product specifications, quality and credibility in a format suitable for both print and digital use.

Our Approach

We approached the project as more than a design exercise, treating it as a structured product communication system.

Recognising the absence of photography, we worked closely with Hospi-Furn’s CAD department to unlock an alternative solution. By integrating directly with their technical team, we established a standardised 3D rendering pipeline, converting their CAD files into high-quality, lifelike product visuals.

This approach ensured visual consistency across the entire range, ongoing scalability for future products and alignment between technical accuracy and visual presentation

Alongside this, we carefully structured the brochure layout to balance technical detail with clarity. Information hierarchy, spacing and typography were all considered to ensure the document was easy to navigate while still conveying depth and credibility.
